Why? Well one, you mentioned HT heads but nothing specific. And two because there's not a single good Mcfly head in 1:18th and BTTF is awesome! But you'd be doing the work yet don't have any interest so I'll just keep my head! Hmff! *turns up nose and leaves*

I'll cast it first,and send back the original within a week,so if you mail it,and I get it on or before Saturday I can get the original back in the Mail on Monday...cause it's going to take 3-4weeks to get that beast to 1:18...but forum census wins this round. Send it with the buck you want it to fit on too!

It only needs to be shrunk a little bit. It doesn't really need to be made to fit a certain head. It's already tight on the 30th Trooper head, so the interior would need to be cleaned out to fit a particular head anyway.

I'd be down for an 18th McFly, too; and can attest to the time and money investment involved with HydroShrinking. It's even more expensive when you only get garbage at the end like me.

Anyways,here's ML wasp. I feel I need to step her down a tad bit still tho..the hair may become an issue tho,because it's getting really thin!
There's no way I'll get this small enough to fit on that 4" wasp,and still keep the hair separate...I tried it on a wasp body,and the body is sooooo small!

Funny thing is that's it's actually a little smaller tgen FSS bombstrike:trollface:
I just ran the mold again in brown,because the back of the hair didn't form correctly..I'll reposition it with that,and take another pic,and post in in a few hours. Maybe it's partially an optical illusion due to the all one color thing going on? The hole is actually too big&deep for that torso,so I have a balled up piece of tape in there for that pic. Lowering it isn't an issue.
Does anyone have any 50th lady jaye figures to trade? I need a couple...they never showed up around here.

Her head is fine, imho. The *vast* majority of 18th heads are too small, so it makes the proper-sized ones look too big. The only line that generally ran true-to-real-life headsize were the BnB wrestlers.
I don't think the size looks bad at all. But like KT said, it could stand to be dropped a hint.
Sorry, hadn't checked this thread in a few days. But don't worry it, man. I don't want ya doing anything you don't want to do. Seriously. That takes the fun out of it and then becomes a chore. I appreciate it though.

Idk,I still feel it's large tho. Here's a size comparison with bombstrike...it's actually smaller then bombstrike's head,and about equal to the movie Lady Jaye,which I feel is a little big as well..

That's pretty cool. Get some movie Stormshadow arms. They have zippers and trim all over them. Might look cool.
Yeah, that would work. I did something similar on a zombie before but with thin fabric and paint. The paint soaks into the fabric and dries hard. Different method...same result.
As a matter of fact on this pic it looks that her eyes are way too big for her head ^^

I've done a bit of work with fabric and it def has its advantages, pliability being the most obvious. If you're not going to need that, I find the torn paper has a finer 'weave' of li'l paper fibers than fabric. Finding fabric threads small enough and with a tight enough weave to look good at 18th is nigh-impossible, imho.
Two more shrink cast options, if they haven't already been done.
There's a Jonah hex Lilah figure with a better head sculpt of her to be had..
This is what I've settled on for my Red Shadows, still need to be painted obviously. They aren't exact without stahlhelms or the top button fastened on their tunics, but I think they're as close as I'm going to get.
Ouch. Hate to see those things painted red, and you of all of us couldn't couldn't cook up something better for a helmet/mask combo than Air Trooper? Oh, and even the Germans aren't using the G36 anymore.
I won't deny that all sounds very dickish, but that's how I feel.

I just can't seem to get Rick's head right! This one is too big,and I have another thats just a tad too small. All three of these heads are larger then the other TWD heads I've done,and right now these are just between 5%-10% too big compared to the others I've done.

they look great. put those in line with some gijoe originals so we can have a better perspective. but those look awesome... and we need a Rambo. now we have a perfect body to go with it(gung ho) !!!!!!

Those are too big. not like they where,but too big for any Joe body.

Finally making a Firefly. Trying to decided on the backpack. I don't like the 25th or 50th versions. I like the tool case but I wonder if it's practical. Seems like it would be too heavy in real life.
