I don't think any JOEs had double elbows, but Marvel Universe figures did. She-Hulk was my favorite with them.

I looked up a bunch of people shooting and I don't think I saw one picture where someone had their elbow at ear level when shouldering a rifle.

Shit, missed this one. Yeah, double-jointed elbows would have helped tremendously. Boss Fight's figures have just enough range to get a fair rifle hold.

Hmm. Even with double elbows, it's not going to fix the cheek weld issue. All double elbows would do is place their hands further down the stock. The butt needs to be able to push further into the shoulder and the neck needs a lot better range of motion. Though if the butt could fit further into the shoulder, then the double elbow would become much needed.

I figure you need a whole figure re-design to get proper aiming. Even in the pictures above the figure isnt looking down the sights. It could be posed a second before or after or whatever.. but you're not getting that perfect shot them looking through the scope.
There are like, four-five points that have to line up to get a good rifle aim pose going, and it pretty hard to engineer because of the realities of unyeilding plastic versus cloth, skin and muscle that all compress.

They are supposedly on the way from the factory. People that ordered them through the KS should get them by the end of the month. I'd expect them to hit the store during the 2nd or 3rd week of March.

This KS is going to be amazing. I painted all the weapon prototypes and yesterday I saw the 1st draft of the KS plan. WOW! So much cool stuff planned.
