I have issues on both off mine with the soft plastic railing and side gun being sticky for life.
I’m not sure if it’s lacquer paint that does it or if it’s the alcohol in the wash.
Excellent job on that weathering.
And I agree about the paints. Decided years ago to only use acrylic. Testors Model Master has been my go-to for a while. I have always run into issues with lacquers and enamels being sticky. I've even had enamel show fingerprints from touching it a whole week after painting it on. So frustrating.

Nitty + gritty!
You need any more parts for this little universe? I have 2 painted AT-STs and a handful of Endor commandos with various heads. I used POC Beachheads with gear from Dragon German troops as my bad guys.
I still think I captured the essence of Star wars despite it looking somewhat anime. The droid tank. It’s a great sci-fi look with the dirt and pane lining and then the candy clear coating, more of an anime look than real world. The only paint I’ve used that gives that effect is Tamiya Clear rattle cans.
The mud/dirt build-up around the wheel wells is a great touch.
