Coloring time, class!

So as you all know I've got that AA Huey that I'm working on. Other than the nav lights I've got the thing torn down and cleaned and am considering paint options.

What I want from ya'll are some ideas. I've waffled between Cobra, Olive Drab and a Tan, worn, deserty scheme for something like Lance's Rebel Angel universe (though that would need some special armaments constructed). I just can't decide, and maybe theres a better option I haven't pondered.

About the only thing I can say is I WILL be keeping the dark blue tail and markings.


Save this and use whatever program you feel like to help me brainstorm. No rush, as I've got to fabricate a number of antennas and fix the rotor system.

Though I do think black with the factory blue engine housing/upper tail boom/tail would be pretty swell with Cobra markings. Unfortunately there aren't any waterslide decals for that.

if your going to go with air force use a light gray with yellow strips on the tail section or you can go with the dark blue USMC colors to mach the tail.

We have plenty of room before the next crush. I saw a fade pattern that wasn't too bad. It had a solid color for the body and then fades into a darker color at the tail. Only part that would be a pain would be the fade part on the paint. I'll try to dig that picture up.

I've half a mind to turn it into a defoliant sprayer. The large drums I have would pass, just need to build a spray rig.
