Thanks for the update and photos for those of us who couldn't get there, Fogger. I was supposed to be there too but a screw up at work put the kabosh on those plans. I wanted to play the game too. I'm going to have to set up a con a Chicago. Who wants to go?

Who's who in the pic?

From left to right: Not sure, Ronin (Cap t-shirt), T? (Slayer artist I believe), JediMasterBen (Slayer sculptor), Slayer Dave, Obi-Shinobi, Ed/Bamphalas, and DarkWinter (caster for Slayer). I don't know who is in the background except for Nova on the far right (Joe t-shirt).

What's Dave wearing? I wanna put a face to the name and your order confused me still, due to the dudes in the background. Plus, I may be mildly retarded.

The tall guy in the flannel is Obi. The guy to the left in the photo is Dave.

Crummy pic or not that Zed head on the right is the balls.

Who's who in the pic?

Daremo got the front row - the back row is Jared (don't recall his forum name, sorry), Jeff (stocco, one of the sculptors), and Nova from the forums.

I was bummed when Obi shared, man. Next time!

It would have to be considerably cheaper than the one that's currently available. ;)

Too bad they aren't casting Falcone's M14s at the show.......

I just asked what the price was!! I don't think I'd want to pay to ship it from way over there anyway..

And I'll have you know, I found TWO of the BH's were in a bin here in the garage. Found them yesterday.

Hell, I'm pretty sure I was cycled out of 1:18 at the time in favor of Japanese stuff so I probably saw them on shelves and didn't even notice them.

No idea on the BH yet.

Mandingo, I have your Tollbooth. Cloud & K-tig & Midget, I have some stuff for you, but not everything you were hoping for.

Sweet! So what you're saying is, I'm the only one awesome enough for whom you scored everything that was requested? Thanks Fogger! You rock! :D

See any nude torsos? *giggles*

I got 2 of those kits, honestly. I think only one of them will ever get painted up. One needs a lot more work than the other one, though. You interested in doing a good deal of custom filling and sanding and whatnot?

Brief thoughts on day 2, with a fuller report to follow later this week...

Got to see Ben (Jedi Master Ben on the SDS forums, one of Slayer's sculptors) sculpting in wax. The other main SDS sculptor works in resin, so it was neat to see one way to do it.

Had a small demo on working with foam for cliffsides, and for flocking coniferous and deciduous trees. I got to take one home!

Played lots of Relic Wars. I got killed by zombies a LOT.

Got about 3-4 different ways to try to avoid joint rub from the various customizers present.

Dave brought pizza from his shop which was GOOOOOOOD. He also brought a few hundred sculpts from the store along, including some of the new stuff we saw yesterday. I brought home a lot.

Lots more photos today, did I mention?

More people today and more space, so a number of customizers set up and showed off their stuff.

A few guys brought stuff to sell, including the Blackhawk that I ended up picking up. A local comic book store, Collector's Corner, had a table set up today as well.

You should be able to see the cabinets from the Slayer store in photo four. This is only a fraction of their total sculpt library.

Last photo has my Blackhawk.

All of the sculpts I brought home.

Mandingo has one in there, Cloud has four and K-tig has a few. The torso is Midget's.

The rest are mine.

You guys may want to really consider going to SlayerCon in the future, if for no other reason than the availability of sculpts.
