Most custom work I do has some sculpting involved. I don't normally sculpt an entire figure that often though.
For some reason half my posts on other boards said NECA and SOTA. I am not even sure how I got the mixup in my head other than they are both four letter company names.
Except about 50% of the blaster arm. That is just various bits I had in my fodder bin.
The internal framework of the figures is from various GI.Joe and Star Wars parts and styrene.
I have been working on this custom for last month and a half off and on. Finally finished today.
Sorry about bad pics, very little room to take pictures right now and had to settle for less than ideal spot.
As stated further below this is based on the unproduced SOTA prototype figure...
Have you done any other micronaut customs (before these) or plan any more?
Also I went back and read all the prior posts in this thread that I skimmed over at first.
I was gonna ask where you got the lifelike appendages... I did think they looks so amazingly real...turns out there was a reason...
Hello everyone. I am new to the board. Just discovered it this morning.
Here is one of my more recent customs:
Utanis, Jawa Mandalorian
Utanis was an above average member of his species to begin with. Taller than most Jawas and physicaly more aggressive. Was always a bit of an outcast...
Great custom! You definitely captured the look of those guys! I never got around to it, though had hoped to make customs of them one day. I know of the series but have yet to actually watch it.
I love these! Great and creative selection of parts for the reamakes of them. The B.A.T. part I have considered also if I get around to doing the other aliens. I am still in the works on a Lobros.
Great to see others keeping the micronauts alive!
Was curious on the parts you used for Reptos...
