I can't wait! I sold some stuff to buy a new BBI Falcon, but the $ is going towards this instead! And I am $50 ahead from my deposit to start the project.

if he ships it UPS, thousands. :D

LMFAO!!!!
In one week, UPS left my SSC EX Stalker sitting out in the rain and completely destroyed a metal saucer sled I was going to make a Captain America shield out of! Suck it UPS!!!!

So exciting! Of course I have to go to California for work next week, so I won't get to start it right away.

Pickel- how long did it take to go from drawing board to production, just out of curiosity?

I think it took about 7 months to get to production about 2 months to finish.

Of course I did not work non stop on it. But it still took about 9 months to get to this point.

It sure was a lot of work.

I doubt if I will ever do a full build aircraft again.

I will stick to strictly mods.

For some reason full build armor has a lot more parts but they are about 3 times easier to do.

Go figure.

It's all mostly angles. The Horton is all curves. Ya did turn out a peach of a kit, though.

That is great Pickel!

Can someone link me to ordering info?

When ever you are ready just pm me.

Derek the original pre order was $300 for the kit and $400 for the fully built/painted offering.

I am now offering them for $350 for the kit and $450 for the full build.

After my run of full builds we will see how much that may increase.

So far the kits are costing me $125 per unit.

It takes about a day and a half to pour one unit.

If I ever do another full build aircraft I will have to think long and hard about it.

The profit in this one seems to have not been worth it.

But at least some of you will be able to have this very popular wonder weapon.

It is a very cool looking

That is sweet.

I can see some of the guys here putting an alternate universe twist to that gem.

How durable is it?

I built it up so it should be plenty durable.

Extreme heat does awful things to resin though.

I made the vacuum canopy so that it will pop into the frame.

For strength and easier to paint.

I did drop one with the wings on and nothing happened.

About 3 feet.

There is no way in helll he is painting them anything other than a base primer for $100. That money is going towards his time to prep the pieces and assemble.

This is my S1. I had a preorder for $400 for the full build.

I have raised the price to $450.

As far as new stuff is concerned You can order now.

The new HUMVEE turret is still a little away . That goes for the Mh-60 DAP helo parts as well.

There is light at the end of the tunnel. I am about to wrap this thing up.

Here are some pics of the production paint and insignias.

BTW

I will probably retire the Horten after a few more runs . SAfter I get caught up on some back orders.

It took well over 40 hours each for the full build.

At $100 extra you can bet I did not make any extra money.

If I do make more full builds it will be the standard of twice the kit price . $350 x 2= $700

It will not be worth doing it for any less.

Looks really cool Pickel. I'm hoping my 1/48 ones turn out just as good. Wish I had the room for yours, but I just don't. It would waste away, disassembled in the closet.

Amazing job, pickel! The execution of the design and the paint scheme are all top-notch. Really dig this, man.

Thanks guys,

A whole lot of work went into these.

Too much work.

But I am pretty sure the guys who ordered these will like them and hopefully they will have been worth the wait.
