Materials

skinny sticks (popsicle sticks)

hot melt glue

cutting utensil (I use wire cutters than dremil sand edges when done)

cut sticks to sizes in reference pic.

glue the 1/2 inch pieces across 2 of the sticks(back rest), and the 3/4" on the 3 sticks (seat) like in picture, center them, do not allow either side to be at the edge.

now take 2 of the 4" sticks and glue them across the back and front of the 3 sticks(seat) we just glued together on the same side we glue the crossbars (this is why we did not put at the edge). Once dry we will add the 1 inch pieces(legs) to the front, place legs place and glue on the inside. Now add the 2" pieces (legs) to the back (make sure only 1 inch goes towards ground) now glue the 2 piece stick(seat back) onto the legs sticking out the top of the back. The last 2 pieces are crossbars to connect the legs. I know it sounds confusing but here are 2 more reference pictures. I apologize, i missed taking a picture when I added the legs.

last picture is to show you variations, as long as the legs are 1 inch from seat to floor, other lengths can be adjusted.

Damn, having a kid I have an endless supply of popsicle sticks. Those look really good painted and weathered.

Nice...don't forget to carve some names and stuff in the wood...maybe add a couple pink dots of bubble gum on the back.
