I'll certainly get a pic with the stock HIISS, once it's finished.
So far I've used scrap/spare parts from work- plexi, electric boxes and PVC. So no cost there. I have ordered some styrene to the tune of $55 shipped. I'm hoping to keep the cost around there.

Yeah, the price was right.
On a sour note- the styrene just arrived (all in black). And it's all too thin. I ordered .05MM when I needed .20MM (I believe that's the right thickness). So much for the budget. =(

Got a bit more work done on the HISS. Doesn't look like much, but this is like two weeks worth.
The lower section is basically finished, save for some kibble detailing. (hard to make out the center section etching in these pics, but it's there.)

I've tried the lighting with poor results in the past, so I don't think I'll try it here. But I do love the idea.
I was thinking the same thing. When this is finished i am not sure which will be my favorite, your amazing devastator or this hiss.
Can't wait to get further along. Started the top cab section. And finally ordered more styrene.

Yeah. I figure it's really not much more work. It would be worse to finish one, then start the second.

Here's an example of how time consuming this project is: I wanted to mount the rear gun. I had to cut out a section of the back, so it would sit lower. Then I screwed the gun base down. Then reworked the sides to hide the section I cut out. This took an hour and a half. And it looks like nothing.
