50th Anniversary Modern Cobra de Aço/Steel Cobra

I figured I would start using the 50th monniker as that is what will most likely be out this time next year.

I find this character to be intriguing. It would be neat to see him in the comics as well. I did not mind the Club version but the 25th mold seems like it is getting quickly outdated in terms of the PoC/30th/Retaliation figure molds.

I am still planning to do the following:
1. Chrome the head.
2. Add a chest amor piece (painted yellow).
3. Add a modern/future rifle and backpack.

Head - PoC Tornado Kick Snake Eyes
Arms and Legs - PoC Tornado Kick Snake Eyes
Torso - Dollar General wave 1 Cobra Officer/Trooper
Belt - PoC Tornado Kick Snake Eyes

Since the club did a version of him, He's not likely to be in next year's line up. I'd like to see other characters than this.

Although you do have a better parts build than the club.

Never was a fan of that character/figure.. you did it justice though I suppose.

Not sure if the "50th" title will catch on, maybe.. but it's not like Joe/Cobra have been around for 50 years.

If anything the 50th should be similar for what they did with the 30th in '94.

I doubt it on the 50th stuff. We'll prob see some 12" figures, a jeep for them and maaaaaaybe a modern sculpt 4pack of the 12" guys at toys r us. I don't think we'll see it change the regular line besides a small sticker or spot in the corner of the package.

As for the figure, looks cool, but a bit too busy for my tastes.

a line of figures from American wars would be killer. Each wave could be its own war. Put famous war veterans here and there in the waves. I would buy the hell out of that.

I love in retrospect that the 30th figures ere all Korea-Vietnam era designs.
