A few weeks back, my wife took our kids to the Magic House in St. Louis and both of my boys picked one of these up...
It's called a good luck mini and it's made by a company called Safari. One inch long, comes in either a blue or pink diaper. I think it costs 25 cents, but if you can't find these at a brick and mortar location, you'll have to buy a tub of them...which ain't cheap.
On my picture it looks like there's a blotch on it's head, arm and leg, that's just from where it was pushed against the glass of my scanner. Also it looks like the diaper is rubbing off, that's because my son has played with it, lost it, found it, played with it some more, lost it again, rinse, repeat. It has painted eyes (just two little dots really) and a light coloring of the hair.
The only drawback is that it's made of rubber, so any modifications are going to be pretty difficult.
I've had several figures posed holding it and it looks to be in perfect scale.
