ARAH with added articulation

It only took me two years to get around to making a this custom- an ARAH with added articulation.
In addition to the standard articulation I gave him double-jointed elbows, swivel wrists, double-jointed knees and articulated ankles. His height remains right in line with standard ARAH figures.

Nice job on the added articulation. That must have been one hell of an undertaking. Although I think the added articulation on the old 3-3/4" (the new ones are closer to 4") bodies makes them look a tad oddly-proportioned, it's still cool to see.

Two minor things that will make a great improvement... Thinning down the paint or applying in many, thinner layers could help out on the texture he has. Also, is there a way to seal that spot on his neck? It looks like he's had a hell of a tracheotomy, and is a little distracting.

(Just some constructive feedback, please don't take it as offensive.)

That's definitely something I wouldn't waste my time on, because I'd either give up halfway through, or botch it all up to hell. Great job on it, and thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Man. I always appreciate critiques. I've found the paint issue is something I have problems with more and more- part of it is, I think, that the paints I use are getting old (even the new batch I purchased just last week seems really thick. I do thin them, but it's not helping much). Plus the lighting I paint in isn't the greatest. And it is frustrating.
As for the hole in is neck- after seeing these pics I patched it. In person it wasn't really noticeable. Looked more like a shadow.
