Are there any Hydroshrinkers on here?

I tried it once, and it's damn hard for anything with any detail. Imagine trying to remove a flan or some jello from a mold without tearing it. Then it shrinks for about two weeks. And if you didn't pressurize it, there are zillions of bubbles and holes... needless to say, my experience was less than successful.

I think it would be good for larger, smoother items. Small and detailed... fugeddaboutit.

Yeah, that's true unless you take into account overheads. OPP's stuff is either direct Hasbro rip offs, or just minimally retooled. Shipping is like $10 for a single head.

Most of the other similarly priced casting places are either loaning the molds or have to pay a sculptor.

All that aside, I just don't want to do any business with them personally. I just don't like the way they present themselves online.

While I'm not crazy about their store software, I've not had any issues. I had one successful order, and I'm waiting on my second order.

The $10 shipping might just be a minimum, for one head or twenty, but that's just me speculating.

The stuff I order from them is their original items (like the Strong Guy head!), or recasts of heads from exclusive or elusive figures. Again, not trying to sway you, just mentioning that my experience with them has been positive thusfar.

Angel Forge beats all I've ever seen. I've placed two orders from them, and they both arrived within two business days. BA won't even look at your order until it's been sitting there for four months, and AF gets me a package in two days. Unbelievable!

Soon as I get all this mess caught up. I will start hydro shrinking. The only thing with shrinking stuff is that the resin takes about 10-21 days to shrink down and I already have some resin on the way.
