2 questions:

1: Why does the M2 have two ammo cans feeding from opposite sides of the gun? Brass catcher, maybe?

2: Where did that PRC radio on the M2 gunner come from?

I'm pretty sure the radio is from a PTE set maybe.. I am 99% sure I have some of them laying around from back in the day.

No, I have a PTE PRC, and that'un ain't it. It could be a customized one, I guess. I think I see a China Lake grenade launcher, so there's definitely some custom work goin' on in there.

Could be. The PTE packs have always used elastic straps as best as I can recall.

I sure as hell could use one, and I'd rather not give Build-a-Rama $13 for theirs.

Asked the maker and he said PRC radio is BBI and M2 gunner is DIY of 21st century platoon.

Bbi. Makes sense. I'll never find it, then. Guess I'm going back to expensive-ass plan A.

It's a BBi radio that came in the red colored "Combat Gear" Elite Force accessory packs. I have one and I think it came in the pack with the tripod mounted TOW.

But being the stickler that you are, I wouldn't use it as a PRC-25 stand-in unless heavily modified. It is clearly a SINGCARS.

Ah ha! Makes sense now. Wondered where I got it from.

I'm surprised you can't find those weapon sets.. they were like $5 for two at once point.

I got mine by accident from Small Joes when I started 1:18 a little over a year ago. Since it was a mistake (I ordered a WWII accessory pack) I asked if they wanted it back. They said no. It wasn't worth it to them. Now they don't have any.
