I really think matel missed the boat by not making a comic book 3 3/4" Batman line to acompany the Movie line. Here is my first attempt at a Comic Style Batman. Let me know what you think.

Nice. You could clean up the wash a bit, but that's a solid custom.

Honest opinion? I'm not really digging it. It's hit and miss, from what I know of your usual skills.

The cape could be defined much more in design as well as fitment. You used the DK gauntlets, but went with a boot that doesn't fit the character as well. The Bat emblem could stand out a bit more, maybe with something sculpted or cut out and applied. And the wash is a little on the sloppy side.

I agree with Obi about the Bat symbol needing to stand out more. Also the Cape seems off a bit.

Um. The DKR DOES have a 4" line, they just did what Mattel does naturally and made them suck.

Granted I missed that, but it would suck anyhow so what does it matter?

Personally I'd wait and see if DC Direct or whatever the hell they're calling themselves now does one in tha limited 4" line they're doing.

I think I liked the first one more...he has a very Frank Miller DKRs vibe to him...
