I'll just mask the factory nose off. May even do some art on the access door (the one that they didn't bother to sculpt)

I'm leaning towards tiger stripe combined with a black upper section. Sucks it'll be a slick most of the time.

Maybe attempt a TOW sight. Anyone got a set of Bbi TOW pods they don't want? :D

I've got spare TOW pods from the BBI Little Bird.
EDIT: Although Fogger lives a lot closer to you. :)

I've got a mismatched pair of those, actually, and I did think about using them, but they're a bit long.

Plus there's no mount extension for a minigun or other armament package. 14 rockets, where's the fun in that?

I'd say medium grey with the blue tail.

You could then keep it nuetral so it could be like a what if USAF hog or you could load it up with shockies. Also, airbrushes aren't that hard to work with, paint a few small things then work your way up to the hog once your happy with your results, it will be worth it in the end.

I know how to work one, I said I don't feel like using it. I end up spending more time cleaning it than my fucking gun. :talktothehand:

always liked this scheme for some reason but never saw one in stores before...

I don't like the ugly Easy Rider art on the fuselage. They didn't do the teeth for that particular bird correctly, either.

At least I don't believe so.

That Angel Universe would be cool for a custom helo, like an old Huey. Maybe some Mad Max style sliding doors and armor plates on the pilot doors? Just go with a solid color, but all beat up and scratched?

I'm trying

You using enamels or acrylics? When I use acrylics once I'm done I just spray alcohal through it and then once every month or so I give it a good cleaning, you only need to go all out when using oils.

I don't dare shoot my cheap-ass acrylics of choice through my good air brush. Those things DO NOT mix well with alcohol.

I reckon I could dig out one of my cheap ones. I'd only need it to shoot the tiger stripes.

Tamiya isn't that expensive, and it runs through my airbrushes ok, without too much cleaning. I just soak the metal parts in alchohol after I'm done, wipe 'em off, Bob's your uncle, done.

Well then you send me a bottle of Tamiya, because I don't think my Hobby Lobby has a great selection of tactical colors. :p

As for a Rebel Angel Huey, it would leave a lot of wiggle room for add-ons. Guess I've got to find a 4th Huey, eh?

I'll see what I have when I get home. I also have some Vallejo stuff that's pretty nice, thins pretty well with Windex or similar cleaner. Not sure if you want to try that. It's a smaller bottle and easier to ship.

Hey, whatever mang. :)

I need to decide iffin' I want to keep the tampoed Old Glory graphics on the door posts, as the tampoed stuff will need to be masked or sanded off as paint doen't like that shit.

I say 20th special operations squadron

Edit: Hey! That's me up there...I was flying a bright Yellow 500 after that job....Now I'm flying a sparkly electric blue 500 with a bunch of airbrushed polar bears on the side.....kinda reminiscent of those vans from the 70's with the barbarian and half naked chick airbrushed on the side.

Good thing you don't still have it, then!

Charlie gunships painted up like memorial long-bodies. The scandal!
