I needed that 113, too. ;)

Annnyyyyhoo, I think today I'm gonna work on FM homing antennas and a cabin VHF aerial. Haven't decided if I'm gonna do high frequency antennas down the tail boom yet, but I may have found a piece of clear plastic I can build a TOW sight onto.

Need to build a tail stinger and VHF nav aerials too. So much to do!

Though I do think black with the factory blue engine housing/upper tail boom/tail would be pretty swell with Cobra markings. Unfortunately there aren't any waterslide decals for that.

I just started reading this thread...but I like this idea and perhaps can help you with Cobra waterslides. :D

If I don't use them on the helo I could always use them for my Type 92.

What exactly are you looking for? I have some Cobra waterslides now...and probably could get others made...

My buddy owns www.fineclonier.com - a site for LEGO customs, but he makes the best custom waterslides. I am helping him develop a GI Joe line and in return he makes me stuff for my projects. I can show you pics of some if you'd like.

You can PM me if you want and we can work something out. I have a few Cobra vehicle customs in works and will likely be getting some stuff made. :D

Only thing I'd really need are Cobra sigils. Everything else could be done with left over 1:18 tank decals or dry transfers.

Hmmm, around 1"-1 1/4" x 1" or there abouts. Fuselage and wing size, I guess you could say.

Red and black, though white ones are always useful, too.

SO I'm mulling over the nose art I want to do while I wait for the paint to fully cure (I'll decide then if I want to tiger-stripe it or not).

Here's some I'm considering

On this one I'd do "Danse Macabre" in ornate script, probably German Fraktur.

Femlin, a staple of Playboy since the begining (though not neccessarily this pose)

THis project has been more fun than I thought it'd be, but I'm not out of the woods yet.

I've already got a 190 in permanent limbo, I don't need to add a 109 to that column.

What do I want with a Patton figure with no feet or a 1:6 flight suit I have no figure for?

What Sherman?

And I wouldn't be caught dead with ICP anything.

Nah, I don't want a SHerman, even if it wasn't just a hull.

If you go for a more classic paint scheme go for the last one, or if it's more as a modern huey do the playboy bunny logo

I've seen the bunny logo on a Huey so there's precedent for it. I like the idea of doing a Femlin, though I'm unsure of the pose. The skeleton would all but certainly need to be a custom decal.

Vexilarius could do it, thoy I'm afeared of what it would cost.

Thanks for weighing in, Weasel.
