I know most here don't like the ReAction figures. I have to post it here because I have no where else to do so.
I wanted to have a whole group of space suited figures ever since I saw photos of what I thought were prototypes along with the "egg chamber" play set displayed at SDCC last year. I haven't seen any info that they were going to mass produce these so I decided to make them myself.
Picked up a few extra "Kane in spacesuit" figures from a fellow board member. Bought a regular Dallas that was on sale at Wal-Mart to use his face and a Cloud City Princess Leia to use her face for Lambert (what have I done!!!)
Cut the faces off Dallas and Leia, hollowed out the face on the extra Kanes and glues the new faces in place. All the rest was just re-painting them. I know the paint jobs aren't "screen accurate", but like I said, I was trying to match the figures that Funko/Super 7 had in display. Which when you think about it, the solid colors are more in line with the asthetic they have tried to achieve with all the other figures which is pretty much what they would probably have looked like if made back in the late 70's.
