(*Dead End was a Dio-Story I had posted in 2003. It was taken off the internet in 2008. The story of Dead End described how Cobra created a virus based bio-weapon that could reanimate the bodies of the recently deceased. The weapon, The Dead End virus, was going to be sold by M.A.R.S. industries. During a demonstration, things went wrong and the infected corpses escaped. The virus spread worldwide in a matter of weeks.)

Here's the back story for End Of Days . . .

The events described in End of Days take place after Dead End*.

The zombie outbreak had all but doomed humanity. Government Scientists, in secret locations, work at fever pitches to reverse the effects and find a cure. Meanwhile the united leaders of the world agreed to level major Cities (which had been abandoned), using non-nuclear weapons, hoping this would get the virus under control. But it did not. The result was destruction and major power outages.

The battle between the G.I. Joe team and Cobra continues.

And now the customs . . .

(The Joes: Wave 1)

Here are the parts used . . .

Mainframe-
Head: Upsided Star Wars Pilot.
Mic: Barrel Roll
Upper body: Star Wars Storm Trooper with Chap Mei light/ camera added to the right shoulder.
Lower body: GI Joe 25th Cobra Trooper with BBI pack added to the left leg.

Dodger-
Head: 21st Century, Platoon- Charlie Sheen.
Upper body: Star Wars Clone Trooper with GI Joe straps and belt, and knife sheath.
Lower body: GI Joe 25th Cobra Trooper with holster added to the left leg.
Helmet: CORPS! with Chap Mei light/ camera added to the right.

Robo-Joe-
Base figure- Superhero Show Down Colossus with Star Wars Dark Trooper parts bashed onto him. (The helmet is missing in these pictures.)

Salvo-
Head: GI Joe Spy-Troops Zartan
Body: Valor vs Venom Over Kill.
Arms: ARAH Road Pig
Waist: Road Pig.
Legs: Major Barrage
Right shoulder pad: Japanese based figure



Team pic- Salvo, Mainframe, Robo-Joe and Dodger

Mainframe: Team leader, and computer specialist. His tech knowledge, along with Dodger, keeps Robo-Joe up and running.

Dodger: Second in command. He's a tech expert and oversees the upkeep on both Robo-Joe and the communications vehicle.
He'll be the last man standing!

Salvo: Heavy weapons expert and vehicle repairs.

Robo-Joe: The muscle of the team. When his body was damaged beyond hope, Mainframe and Dodger created a new armor to help keep him alive (think Iron-Man).
Constant upkeep is needed to keep the armor functioning properly.

Modified Warthog: The communications vehicle.
This vehicle is one of many designed to bridge communications in blackout areas. And to locate possible survivors. It features external two way mics, cameras and radar, along with inferred devices.
The windows have been reinforced with 8 gauge hardware cloth to prevent zombies from entering and infecting the crew inside.

Here is another End Of Days figure.
Roadblock is reborn!, (after being killed in my Dio-Story Dead End) thanks in part to a Cobra human hormone growth process coupled with strands of the Dead End virus (the virus brings the recently departed back to life). The end result leaves Roadblock "Hulk Like". He once again sides with the GI Joes, but his rage, at it's peak, can blur the line between friend and foe.

Here's a look at my End of Days Serpentor. In this verse Serpentor is a seven-footer, thriving in the post apocalyptic world.
I used basic elements from the V1 design, only with colors from real snakes.
This actually turned out to be one of the more time consuming customs I've made in a wile.

Psyche-Out, the youngest team member, puts his paranoia skills to the test not only against Cobra, but against the undead too. He's fitted his upper body armor with muscle-activated sensitive chemical weapons: he uses a variety of drugs and psychological gases to exploit the fears and phobias of his enemies. He also stores canisters of acids, for close encounters with zombies.
Psyche-Out also woks on control techniques for Roadblock during combat situations (Roadblock is known to loose his sense of friend and foe during high stress combat situations).

Bio:


Gung-Ho
Ettienne LaFitte watched as the world around him was decimated. His home town of Fer-de-Lance gone. He stared at the hell on Earth in defiance, and it stared back, aging him in a way he never thought possible for a man that had seen the kind of action special forces brought. He knew of hell, but nothing like this. Cobra would somehow always be there in one form or another. But the undead? What kind of world was this now? What other weapons born in a laboratory existed? And while a good number of his teammates turned to body armor to help in combat, Ettienne LaFitte (code name Gung Ho) decided to hold onto a look he wore long before the world went straight to hell.

Mercer
Mercer is part of Joes Wave 3- The Renegades.

It was a shame I couldn't get a better pic of Mercer for the Dio. No matter what I did it was blurry.

Repeater

Known for being a survivor, Repeater, with the help of the Joe tech junkies, fitted himself with a mech suite to help protect him from zombie and Cobra attacks. He also fitted the suit with two cams instead of one, though they can be used one at a time to conserve ammo.
The "grunt for life" continues the battle in his search for survivors while protecting those who seek out a cure to the Dead End virus.

Brawler
He's part of Joes Wave 3- The Renegades.

Bio-
Brian "Brawler" Mulholland is a natural survivor, born to fight. He's built like a bear, and loves hand to hand combat.
After the Dead End virus outbreak Brawler clawed and scrapped his way to safety. He met up with several like minded Joes that wanted to survive, and not necessarily carry any dead weight with them. Not that they wouldn't help survivors, just that The Renegades look out for themselves first. This has made them outcasts with the rest of the G.I Joe team.

Brawler: "How can I help anyone if I'm not around. And I plan on outlasting this virus. If you're not smart enough to protect yourself, and stay out of trouble, that's your problem. I'm not a babysitter."

With the End of Days Dio-Story I want to make I need lots and lots of zombies.
Thanks to Dark Horse for his inspiring zombies (hope to see those in the Dio as well, along with some I've already gotten from Xhairs).
Here's the first of many. Thanks to Dave for the head! Great sculpt. And I'm glad I finally got to use it.

Dieter Lehmann A.K.A. Dr. Mindbender

Bio- It is unknown how old Dieter Lehmann is. It was documented that he worked on the V-2 ballistic missile for the Nazis in the early 40s. Lehmann moved State side in the 60s, and was lost underground, hidden by an organization known only as Cobra. He then resurfaced as Dr. Mindbender in late 1998, to help the Umbrella corporation develop the "T" virus. Soon after he helped Destro, and Cobra, by overseeing the "Dead End" virus.

Duke was on an assassination mission in Bangladesh when the zombie outbreak first started. He had lost all communication with the PITT, and with his connection in Bangladesh. Once he completed his mission, Duke commandeered a Cobra Night Raven and returned to the States, His top priority now is to stop the virus and help the government reestablish control of his beloved country.

I had this one sitting around for about six months waiting to be finished. I chose the head mainly because something about it reminded me of the ARAH V1 Duke head.

So about 4 1/2 years ago Sean, Xhairs, sent me a bag of zombies he donated for my Zombie Dios.
I spent this past Halloween weekend going over them as I needed. His are bloody creations that I would see as being some of the first zombies once the infection hit.

I love the cops. Hell I love them all!! Consider me inspired. looks like I will be making some more zombies this week. I think I made 3, maybe 4. Time to up my zombie army!!

so much to comment on. I'm really enjoying reading all the bios and storys. You have a amazing set of customs and joeverse going on.

I'm still going over the thread but I have to comment on 2 customs. Serpy and Roadblock. I've already shared my thoughts on the Roadblock custom with you but damn he is so awesome! Great idea. Seeing him next to his 25th figure truly shows how big he is. Love that figure! I also really dig your take on Serpentor. I actually really like Serpentor and have since I was a kid. I didn't like that he replaced CC but I like the concept. Your Serpy looks like one badass mofo. I love his gear, the cape and the mini skulls look great. I prefer his alternate head better but both are great!

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the feedback. Glad you enjoyed the customs. I did lose some pics because of some issues with Imageshack. Not sure what happened to them.
As for Serpentor I think were about 4-5 episodes from him showing up in the End of Days Dio-Story. He's got a pretty large roll in it. I've always been a big Serpentor fan.

I also really like your Mindbender! Looks very modern but still has that crazy Mindbender feel. The pooch looks really good next to him to. It's like he should have had that dog all along.

I like his Nazi back ground and that german uniform looks awesome! Where is that from?
