Update: Added pant cuffs, calf pockets, and squared chest pocket flaps to match other pockets.

I can't tell from the resolution. (And I don't have glasses for another week). Is the camo pattern a splattered pattern or a digital pattern. It's a cool color combination, I just can't make it out completely.

It's applied with a custom made mini foam brush/stamp, with different "faces". So... it more or less looks digital imo, but it's nowhere near perfectly applied. There are larger blotches, smaller blotches, and lots of little dots and spots.

Colors (Tamiya) are -

base - Dark Grey
NATO Black
Flat Black

That webgear looks great on him!...I used it on retaliation RB but had to do the same as you and change out the straps...

That's just a great all around parts combo...did you sculpt the pockets on the lower legs?...

anyway, well done sir

Loving the updates...I like that pack and webgear on him for sure. As well as the drop holster and thigh pouch...

I really don't like the head seems too wide or his ears stick out too much under the hood or something...I know it is the factory head...so not bad on you...

Love the finished figure! The sculpting is so well done that you could mistake the parts as factory. Great imagining of Firefly.

Ok... added 2 larger shots. Hopefully you guys can make out more of the camo. I could go back over the camo with a straight black to make it stand out more, but I wanted the subdued thing from get-go.

Overall, I'm happy with it.

I had to finally breakdown and add 2 lights to my 3 light setup and place them on either side of the camera.

It's not the lighting with this though. The colors are so close to each other, it's hard to pick them out. NATO black and flat black, over dark grey... it was a bitch painting. The NATO would damn near vanish1 min after applying it.

I think a medium grey base would have worked better for people to actually see the camo better.

Oh well, there's always next time.
