So I was decluttering, and stumbled on a disc that someone sent me with a LOT of Joe comics on it. Not Marvel stuff (at least regular series) but it looks like Blackthorne (3D), Devils Due, Dreamwave, IDW, Darkhorse, Looks like the JvC special, ummmm comic pack issues and the Joecon '08 book. It may be fairly complete up to 2009.

Where to start? Aim me at a good read and which is the cream of the crap?

Blackthorne is a no-go as it's printed in red (naturally) and hurts my eyes to look at.

I never really got past the Marvel stuff until IDW came along, but I'd be curious to see what people think. I've been wanting to read a lot of that.

I'd probably just stick with the Image/Devil's Due comics. Some decent stories in there...I especially like World War III.

For IDW, the best is the Cobra series. All the IDW titles get better after Cobra Civil War, but Cobra is the only series that was consistently good.

I personally wouldn't bother with the rest, unless your a completist.

Never. I see it as acquiring knowledge to use against ARAHFags.

IDW is pretty good until about a month ago when it went completely ninja on us.

I thought with SE in the first origin story was going back to be a commando but that didn't last long.

America's Elite (especially #13-18 and #25-36)

I have the DDP run on my computer, but I'm missing ARAH v.2 #1-25. :(

If anyone wants to read the GI Joe Marvel through DDP or Walking Dead, let me know.
