I had started this idea of an Operative that comes in at night, deals some pain and disapears. Sent in solo for recon or direct action. The POC Snake Eyes Commando is a great base and after seeing wry1 & Cloudes versions of Ripcord I knew what I needed to do to wrap him up.

Note the strap pouch made of hockey tape to accept the oxygen cannister and the wrist gadget. I had interviewed with a company that made all kinds of gadgets for the military. One in particular was this thing, I wish I could remember what it was called but, it could monitor vitals, location, send messages, data, maps and all kinds of crap. Looked like an olde oversized pager with a full screen worn like a watch. I seen it used on spec ops in one of the documentaries out there.

Did some other mods to the vest. Getting a little crazy wth the hockey tape.

Nicely done! I love the lighting and the way you take shots. Reminds me of being a kid at the museum and peeking into the little opening to view a diorama of Indians at a tribal meeting, or a street scene or something. There's a surreal quality to it all.

I wouldn't call it "crazy" what you do with the hokey tape, but have you ever considered doing a mummy type scene? Maybe with Zombie Vipers there too? You'd need a tall figure for the mummy, but you'd get to wrap him up pretty good wid all dat tape!

Speaking of classic Jonny Quest, can you believe this? What a treat!

So is the hocky tape actually holding the knife to the forearm or just there to look like straps?

Also, is that nylon wiretie cuffs hanging on his back? Where did you get those? seems like those and that pair of extra gloves I have seen you attach to a figure or 2 are prime items for a parts caster to make.

Lastly, is the night vision just cut off a desert duke helmet and glued on to Renegade Ripcord helmet?

Slaymaker: Those gloves are from the Unimax SEAL figs that are Dark Green. Knife is glued. Yes night vision is just cut from the Duke helmet.

MMorelock66: It's easy. I just tear off a piece, fasten it to my cutting board that has a grid so that the tape goes along one of the grid lines and then I cut strips to the width and lentgth I want. I will cut two pieces for slings, one a tad shorter than the other and tape them to each other so the sticky side doesn't get stuck to the figure.
