Robocop reboot, that is!

http://www.jadatoysinc.com/our-company

"In another move to further expand their growth and diversity, Jada Toys was awarded the master toy licenses for the “RoboCop" movie reboot which will be released early 2014 as well as “Small Potatoes," bringing Jada Toys into even more categories; action figure and more."

Bitches better comply, yo! There some photoshopped pics floating around, though I don't know if they're actual Jada work.

The only figures Jada has done to my knowledge are static ones to display with their diecast cars. These will be their first foray into action figures.

Whether they Bridge Direct or Jazzwares them remains to be seen.

If you think about it, the OG Robocop had plates too. They were just more bulky than these.

I'll definitely pick these up, but mainly for fodder/customs purposes.

I just don't want crap figures at 8-13 dollars a damn piece.

I am so sick and tired of these "movie inspired" figures being raw garbage, with 5 points of articulation.

This isn't 1977, and seeing rows of this dust-covered shit festering in stores should be enough for ANYONE in this damn industry to understand.

The 5 POA figures from Mattel's Batman and Hasbro's Wolverine line make me sick to see at 8-13 dollars each. If the Tron figures didn't have electronic light features, they would be equally worthless.

5 POA doesn't excite ANYONE. Not even 6 year olds.

Actually they've done static figures for a couple of their movie-themed cars.

Apparently these have started hitting at TrUs.

Stolen from the æther :

If you're familiar with the "1:18" Doctor Who figures you know how small they are. Robo is taller, but I'm still thinking most Joes will be shoving his head into toilets.

The good news is that the limbs are all ball or ball hinge, so there's that.

About the only non-specialty b&m store that will have them is Hastings. I've seen the Cyberman, Dalek and the Weeping Angel, but I've yet to spot Clara or the Doctor. There's a repaint wave coming this year, and January is supposed to see a second wave.

My TRU is loaded with them. Of course, they have no joes, it might cut into their true heroes sales.

Saw these today. Almost bought the silver version, but just couldn't bring myself to take it up front.

Oh, and no Joes = :rainbow: :shakefist:
