Following a distress beacon, Maj. Mercury and Maj. Tom find an old missing shuttlecraft, crash-landed on a distant, and unexplored, planet.

"Maj. Tom, have a look at this. Looks like it's been through one hell of a scrape."

Maj. Tom-"Indeed, and where's the pilot?"

Maj. Mercury-"Look at this, the console is damaged, control yolk is nearly ripped out, but there's no blood or any sign that the pilot was injured...what happened here!?"

Maj. Tom-"Hey, what's that object off in the distance?"

Maj. Tom-"What th.....it looks Egyptian, but here, how???"

What have our intrepid astronauts stumbled upon? What is the mystery of the missing pilot and the strange Egyptian object?

Stay tuned...

HELL YEAH!! That was awesome dude. Love seeing these guys in a dio story. If Angel Forge does indeed do a Grey Alien someday. I'll be getting these guys and the aliens for sure.

Cant wait for the next part!!

Thank you, glad you liked it! :) Is Angel Forge thinking about doing some greys? That would be great!

I hadn't really planned on this being a continuing thing, but maybe I should?

Glad you got the reference. ;)

We need to get those cats some arms. I know you've got to be brainstorming a fix.

I would read it. The cliff hanger worked well. I was just going on your Stay Tuned thinking a second part was coming.

I didn't get the reference. haha, now I do, Thanks KT

I said something to AF about it (Greys) in their thread. DW seemed to like it and said it was a possibility.

Only one of them is missing one (lower0 arm, and I am trying to think of how to replace it. I suppose if I could find someone to mold and cast, I could send them the one that has both arms and maybe they could mold and cast a copy and I could graft it on.

I'm on-board with this!

me too. I even planned the rest of the customs. Since no small skinny torsos are available, I would go the tall thin route that some say they looked like and how Falling Skies depicts them. Use the Avatar figures for them.

I don't know, their articulation isn't my favorite so they may be relegated to background characters.

Like that alien figure from the Indiana Jones line? I know it's a skeleton, but that might be easy to sculpt an entire body over...for an experienced sculptor.

I agree, They don't need to move much, They are psychic!!!
I will own them, looks like I will be trying to hunt down these Metal Men as well.
I said to XOC, I had totally forgotten about these figures till you posted them. While researching them, I found that they quite possibly could have been the first 3 3/4 figures I ever owned. I think I got them before I got my first SW figures. I must own them again just for that reasoning now.

Expect to pay $15-20 for a complete figure, and by complete I don't mean accessories, or in the case of the astronaut, his visor.

Unless you get one MOC, but those go for around $100.

And I think that I too owned these before I had any SW figures.
The memories, sweet, sweet memories.

Completely worth $10-20 a figure. My only criteria is the flag must be pretty good. I have a local weekend market, more like a swap meat, that has a ton of vintage toy stands. I'm going to have a check there first.
