Been a little busy working on a few ideas with the gaggle of parts and fodder I have laying around. I came up with the following figures. Please don't mind the sloppy looking paints, I have found that a good camera lens will tell on you and show things your eye didn't catch!

Here is the hand-painted Marine digital camo... on Sgt Stone. I will say this is Sgt Stone as an Marine Combat Instructor. I sculpted the patch and 8-Point cover out of aves apoxie, then added a little Eagle, Globe, and Anchor to the cover. It's far from perfect, but the best I could do. Since ROC had Sgt Stone with an Eagle, Globe, and Anchor tattoo on his arm, I figured it would be fitting to give him a proper cover dammit!

Marine Aviator - The pic doesn't look as good as in person, plus I had to hand paint sprayed primer on the apoxied parts in order to be able to paint them later, it bled over a little and makes some of the sculpts look pretty sloppy. I had to sculpt the wool collar and shoulder epaulets on Hawks torso. I got this body as parts fodder a while ago and it was missing half the collar and one epaulet. Since he is an officer, I added Captains bars on the shoulders. I think I will make this guy my F-35 pilot... or maybe a Helo pilot. I also scuplted new ribbons, aviator wings, and a unit patch (Spade with wings) on the right side. Once fully painted, he will have green digital camo trousers. It's rough looking now, but I hope the final product turns out right.

Desert digital camo figure... not sure who to make this out to be. I am thinking about doing small four man squad in this pattern. This was my first attempt at digital using a "dry-brush" technique.

The last figure that is not assembled is going to be an original figure. I am thinking some where along the lines of a Serbian Sniper, so he will work for Cobra, or who ever pays the bills

Very nice, I would just touch up the back of the knee on the desert one though and add some pattern.

Awesome. Those look really great. That new digital "marpat" camo looks great in woodland and desert. Also, I think that sculpting job on the 8-point cover is fantastic. It really looks great.

Good catch.... Totally over looked that the other night.

Digi camos came out great. I too just started trying to do them, except I am trying with a sponge. More power to you and patience to do it by hand!

By hand was pretty painful lol, but the "dry-brush" technique is very similar to the sponge method. same principles, just use a stiff bristled brush.

Thanks bro! I am not too sure about the desert, that is why I didn't call it MARPAT... I am leaning toward just saying its a commercial of the shelf (COTS) pattern. The more I think about it, this team may be my Gov Contracted Squad. I used four colors in the desert pattern, I think it's too busy and may tone it down to three.

So I am almost done with the Marine Aviator. Still not sure if I want to make him a fixed wing pilot, or rotary wing. I need to find a suitable head to go with this figure. Took a little while painting his stack of ribbons, I really need to invest into a magnifying glass/light!

My Serbian Sniper is pretty much done, but I need to find a decent Load Bearing Vest (LBV) for him. Something light weight, like a harness. Didn't want to put the typical Joe harness on him. Any suggestions?
