Merit 1/16th M-ATV

I believe it’s 1:16 with the way it measures up to my 1:16 Abrams. If it was 1:18, we could not fit our figures inside if it.
I did few modification on the axels and added bearings on the wheels side so that the wheel and the axel can connected closely.

I deal with scale all of the time.
I f you break down the parts and start measuring the difference in 1/18- 1/16 is slight.
But when you put the parts together the size becomes apparent.
A 1/16 scale Tiger II track is 3/16 of an inch bigger than it's 1/18 counter .
A pencil lead is about 1/8th of an inch and the T-II track is 1/16th of an inch bigger.
Here is a 1-1 can you make a mock up to match ?

If the vehicle is 98.1 inches wide , it would be 6.13 in 1/16 ---- 5.45 in 1/18------Wide
The height is 104.5 right under the turret so --6.53 in 1/16-----------5.80 in 1/18-- Tall

We did a lot of size comparisons in the build thread. The body is not sitting down all the way in the front here, but you can tell it’s about a 1/4” too tall.
If it was any smaller the figures would not fit in the front seats. They already do not fit in the rear seats, but the back windows are so small that you’d never see them back there anyways.
It's always a crapshoot with scale, because true 1:18 tends not to work with figures because 1:18 figures do not bend and contort like real humans do, so it's best to have some 'give' room. Obviously not great if you're super picky about scale, but I was surprised how well it looks.
