This is my first modern custom. She is a mix of vintage figure and Sunbow. I need to touch of the face yet, but don't have the supplies for that. I also need to finish sanding the body, you can see the dark brown spots that are being very stubborn. I spent at least 6 hours sanding. The thigh straps need to either be painted gray or be replaced with something thinner, I haven't decided yet. I guess after all that said the figure really isn't that close to being finished, but these things might be a while before I take care of them.

I like the parts choice, for the most part.

I say it's an excellent combination, my man!

You can maybe use denatured alcohol on a q-tip and some elbow grease to try and remove the remaining paint. That's what I did for mine.

Or, get an old paint brush or tooth pick (something small) and wrap some fine-grit sandpaper around it. It should get into the grooves and folds.

I guess I'm not all that original in using the Dialtone body! I think these are the best option for parts. The only required painting is the green highlights and the head, and the less painting needed the better.

Well, it's still not a perfect combination still, which is why I got the FSS from the GIJCC. Even the Club's isn't what I want exactly, though, but it's better than mine.

I do prefer the Helix head on yours, although that hair is a bit more modern than my personal preference. I'd honestly like the Sunbow hairdo, whatever you call that, which is what I was going for with mine, but besides the yellow skin tone of the head, the face is sad looking and the head's a tad small.

If we'd gotten a "Paris Pursuit" Scarlett in the ROC line, I would've used that as my CG. The Hawk arms restrict too much movement, but I think overall, it's about as good as you can get without having to paint up a figure.
