Just picked up one of these from Target for the price drop of 19.99 (WHAT A DEAL /sarcasm) to make a stinger custom.

The head sculpt on the figure is pretty nice and works well with the collar piece on the SB figs.

The vest is fantastic. Lots of nice details, a comm link, plenty of pouches. Inside the vest not so good. It's pretty tight and had a bump out on the front to fit into the chest of the driver fig.

Has anyone modded this thing to fit on a figure?

yep - I just dremelled it flat with the rest of the inside of the vest. Slapped the vest and the headsculpt from TreadRipper Clutch on 3 pack Beachhead...BAM cool new figure. I think I named him Slaymaker...there are pics here somewhere.

After reading the Lady Jaye review, the colors from the vest match really well with the base figure. Considering how small this thing is, I bet it would work great for web gear for the Lady Jaye / Scarlett Renegades mold...

Defniitely should send it off to be cast...hard to tell but it also looks like it has a camel bak tube running down the right side that goes all the way to the back.

I'd actually prefer it, along with most other vests that get cast to be done in a tan color...it's way easier to make a tan vest black than a black vest tan or any other color for that matter...

When you recast, is it possible to do it in tan or green instead of black?...is that more difficult and/or expensive?...if its more $$$ to cast in colors, I personally wouldn't mind paying slightly more to not have to do a full on vest repaint...
