Guess I'll start an "all in one" dio thread for all my future works.

So I definitely still need to get a few more things for my photo area, like more specific lighting and background/horizon elements. Don't have the best set-up yet.

Anyway, took a few MW3 inspired shots this morning. These were more of me setting the figs/props up for decent action shots really... like test shots. The sky behind it all needs to be daylight for one thing, but I put everything on the table before I even thought about it. Duh.

I'll have to clean them up a bit more, since they came with clips to connect them. If TJ wants to take them on, I'll send them out asap.

I know it's a PITA, but I like the homemade foam barriers better...they have a more realistic concrete look...

I have an idea...

Maybe use the orange ones as molds, and pour plaster in them since they're hollow. Might work, and you'd be able to damage them like real ones.

???

Might be able to use that expanding foam stuff too, if you treated the inside of the orange ones?

Brilliant idea!...SUPER easy too

You could even stick some "rebar" in there before pouring in the plaster!

The plaster in the plastic barrier thing didn't work so well. Since there's no way for air to get to the top of the piece, it just doesn't want to come out once cured. Not the suction you'd want, ya know?

If I can get around to it, I might try building a box and using silicone for a mold, then pour.

Those pics really don't do it any justice though. Quick shot on the tablet and all...

I'll get some better shots tonight maybe.

Thought about that, but don't have the table set up for it... yet. I'll have to play around with them later.

Inspiring? Well... get to it!

Sometimes you just get in a hurry with things. And then you forget to paint the door frame on your new dio piece. How retarded is that? Ugh.
