So I had an Idea for a competition, or even just for fun that gets everyone participating.
I was thinking a 4 part competition between our members; should go something like this:
You have to design and create your own Private Military Company in 1:18 scale.
You need to make a name and logo for your company
There would be 4 Sections that would need to be completed in separate posts of the same thread:
1. The Ops Room/Centre
2. The PMC Operatives (Either Land Based or Maritime)
3. The Close Protection Operatives (CP) + VIP
4. Dio - Style Shots of the Operatives and CP Officers in the field
1. - You would need to create a Dio of either an Operations Room or Centre where the Operations are run from, this would be set up in a dolls house or the PTE HQ building type thing! Must include: 1 x Operations Manager, 3 x Ops Staff (Minimum) and whatever you think would be good (get your Dio Prop heads working!).
2. - A team of Ex-Military Figures should be customised or bashed to form your Privately Contracted Armed Security Personnel (PCASP) Team, either for use in say Iraq/Snack-bar-istan or aboard Merchant vessels (up to you which you choose. They should be kitted reasonably and in course with many PMC Operators (I.e no crazy expensive NVG or rocket launchers). Must Include a Minimum of 3 x Operators, with a maximum of 6 Operators.
3. - A Team of Close Protection Officers should be made up for use in the VIP Protection industry. These figures should be reasonably Civilian looking, maybe with Concealed weaponry. You should also include a VIP Figure that will be transported by the Team. Must Include: Minimum of 3 x CP Officers, With a Maximum of 5 CP Officers, A custom VIP Figure.
4. - This part should include 3 x Dios Shots of the Ops Room/Centre, 3 x Dio Shots of the PMC Team, 3 x Shots of the CP Team and VIP. These shots should be "Realistic" shots i.e everything in scale or outdoors.
Rules:
- You can re-use customs previously shared
- Sections 1, 2 & 3 should include pictures of each figure / Ops room, just to showcase them, do not worry about having a sofa or cat or something in the background!
- Each Team member should have a name (Bio is optional)
Yeah, that is about it! Let me know what you think, I know it is a bit ambitious, but I would love to give this a go and see some awesome entries from the talented members here!
I don't have any prizes or anything, I'm not sure if the mods/admins would want to pick this up and make it a real contest, Just throwing an Idea out really!
