I didn't do much here other than change the gear a little bit, put a matte finish on the glossy black areas and gave him black knee pads.

The web gear and belt were actually made by meandnooneelse, which I bought a cast off of Slayer's site.

So is that webgear up on Slayer's site? Is it flexible? I don't think I've bought anything from them yet in flex casting, but I would in a heartbeat. I need to place an order soon and get back to some customs, it's been a long hiatus. I also need to check out Raginspoon's stuff and make an order.

I left my SE alone, except for switching the kneepads with Stalker. I prefer 30th SE with the commando head, but that webgear is slick! And like Eddie said, the replaced straps look fantastic at the waist.

I'm using my 5-pack ninja SE with that head as my default ninja SE, but if I run across an extra POC SE (I also expect to see repaints in the Retaliation line) I may have to do something similar to this.

I haven't seen the web gear up on Slayer's site in awhile, but I've had a few people asking me if the web gear is still available. So, maybe Dave will put it up again soon. It's not not really all that flexible, but I was able to get it on the fig w/out any problems.

It has been awhile since I've seen any customs by you. You need to get at it! I know you've been busy though, and hope you get to work on some new stuff soon.

Yeah, I've been busy for the most part. It's also nice to take a break. And here I was, thinking you were the one with the baby! Look at you, with all this time on your hands! :D

is it flexible to not break when putting it on?...or do you have to be super careful?

You can actually hit it with the blow dryer and it will make it a little flexible, but I never had any concern when putting the pieces on b/c you don't really have to stretch them while putting them on. The belt has to be forced on a little, but not to the point where you have to worry about it snapping. Of course, this is if you're putting the gear on the same torso I used.

LOL... I know, right? She sleeps most of the time when she's not having to be fed. So, having a baby hasn't really impacted my free time, yet... We'll see how it is when she starts to stay awake and gets to the point where she crawl.

Thanks, MW!

Mandingo Rex & *G.I.EDDIE - I could tell you how to make both the web gear and the belt. They should be flexible to, although they might not be as sturdy as a casted piece. Let me know if you want me detail it, as it might get lengthy...

I'd love to know what parts are used to make the webgear...

Not a problem, man! Here's how to make the web gear. I'll have to cover the belt later as I have to spend some time with the wife:

It's a combination of the 25th Snake Eyes bandolier (the bandolier from either the Pyramid of Darkness figure, or HOH SE style bandolier) and the 25th web gear used on Stalker and various 25th Joes. The part of the Stalker/Joe web gear used is the back of one the straps. You just cut the strap off of the Stalker/Joe web gear and then cut it to fit between the front and back of the bandolier. You might want to cut the strap to where it's long enough to be glued either on top of or beneath the bandolier strap as you'll want to make sure you can get a good bond between the 2 pieces with the glue. SDS's was casted as one piece so it wasn't necessary to worry about the bond for the original piece.

Once you've done that you can add any knife you want to it, and if you want the seam part on the front where the straps meet, it will have to be sculpted, but it should be too difficult and I would suggest you use kneadatite (Green Stuff) as it won't break if flexed.

For the belt...

The base is a Bazooka/Bench Press belt. You just resize the belt to fit around the torso you prefer to use and sculpt the buckle part and the tabs to the left and right of it (if you're wanting it to look like the one meandnooneelse made). For the straps going between his legs, you can just use styrene. I added the tactical pouch on the back of the belt as I figured he would need something to carry some stuff in since I opted not to give him a backpack.

Hope that helps!
