The Tom Jane one was a decent revenge flick, but no Punisher. Warzone was more in-line with being a proper Punisher flick, but everyone besides Ray was awful. I mean horrendous acting.
Still haven't gotten a remotely good Punisher flick, if you ask me. Stevenson was pretty spot-on, though.
Also, that head looks amazingly like him, even with the scarring messing it up slightly. That makes a great Punisher!
Nope. But a movie short doesn't have anything to do with the film version! It's either in the actual film series, or it ain't canon!

Yeah the short was great...
I really like the Thomas Jane version.. but I was never a fan of the Punisher more than casually.. so I only knew the basics of the mythology.
Like someone else said, the Stevenson version had just horrendous acting. The part with the parkour guys or whatever and he blows the guy up in mid-jump with an RPG? Oh man. Like super facepalm.

Same here...and while Stevensons portrayal seems more in line with what I typically know Punisher to look like, his film lacked any personality whatsoever...

I liked both Tom Jane and Ray Stevenson in the role. They each brought their own strengths to it.
I did love the over-the-top violence in Stevenson's movie though, especially when he literally smashed the little weaselly guy's face in.

That short was made last year around SDCC, Tom Jane has always had a love for his character and made it for the fans. Its a great short IMO, specially the little cameo of Ron Perlman.
