What the hell is that watch from!? That's insane detail. The rest of the figure is an awesome fix, too. BUT THAT WATCH! Great detail. Haha.

I don't think the base figure is all that bad, but you've made it solid gold.

Looks like the vest is a heavily modified PTE model, split in two. Can't I.D. the watch, but the band looks to be hockey or medical tape.

I almost wanted to say the watch was a Para-Viper altimeter, but it's not.

Good Morning Gentleman, thanks for all the kind words.

I've sort of been on this watch detail kick lately and every now and then I look into my WWII can of figs to see if there is any this unique I can use with a custom. So, for the watch I cut it off of an alternate arm of an Airborne Ranger. My local hobby shop has a bunch of them so if I really need I can get one again. The band is hockey tape.

The vest is PTE. Not even those will fit normally. So on the close up pick of the shoulder you'll see a shoulder strap in the mold. So I cut the shoulder strps off the vest and glued the four contact points where it made sense in what the design of the vest would most likely have been. Looking at the mold again it seems I have another layer and may be able to paint it so it looks wider as it probably is.

Those modifications look good Rick! The watch is a great detail that you are adding. Can't say I've seen a bunch of those done and you are killing it on them. Only thing it could kind of use is a little dark color on the legs possibly. Those pants just seem a tad bright against the rest of the details you added. Everything else is nicely weathered and looks used. Now he just needs to be laying down some suppressive fire to get some homies out of a sticky situation. :D

how did you get articulated ankles rick? i just got this bomb, and i could let the lack of double jointed knee slide, but i want the ankle articulation. i wanna switch out the lower legs completely, but not sure what to use. the roc and resolute roadblock lowers look to be natural for this figure, but those boots on that roadblock are to dreanokish for a joe.

We both used Shock Trooper lowers, Unclassified.

It looks like he grafted it to the original Rockblock knee, though. I went with Renegades Ripcord's double me on mine.
