Hi guys,
here is a step by step tutorial on how to scratch build a frag grenade.
From left to right are the following steps:
1. Cut a small cylinder from a piece of wire insulation with a diameter of approx 1mm.
2. Find an old bracelet in wife's drawer and carefully remove small sphere shaped objects that suit your needs. Depending on your findings you can use any shape that resembles a grenade...
(This is the most dangerous part and i advise you not to try this at home)
3. Insert cylinder and glue in place.
4. Cut a small square of styrene or any other plastic; then cut side at an angle as shown in picture.
5. Glue this part on top of cylinder.
6. Use a very thin metal sheet (brass or any other metal sheet you have at hand), cut the handle and glue in place.
7. Use a small wire insulation - (a diameter of 0.5-0.8mm would be appropriate) and glue it in place to make the hinge.
8. Make a hole for the pin.
9. Prime.
10. Paint.
11. Make a chain link for the handle, the pin and glue in place.

That's about it...

Here is how they look fitted on my custom Low-Light who is under WIP right now:

Thanks for watching and hope you like it.
