A Town Called Independence.
As the 395 carves its way through the California Sierras it slices its way through a town called Independence. Early in The American War the OWA Forces destroyed the town sending its townspeople fleeing into the surrounding mountains for refuge.
With the capture of Independence the OWA secured important supply routes in all four direction. With its similarity to the mountains of the Middle East the OWA stationed its Quds Forces to secure the town and the surrounding foothills.
The New Free Republic Forces needed to re-Establish supply routes to the west coast if it hoped at all to regain the western territories of the west, but to do that they would need to re-take Independence.
There's only one team that has the experience in small numbers who would haveany chance at getting this accomplished. The Crusaders.
