SO this figure has been put on the back burner for a very long time. However, since Ive had to put my MGS3 series on hold as i acquire parts, I revisited the original WIP made some sculpting tweaks and finished Snake up.

Bio:
After the dissolution of the Fox Hound team following the events of Shadow Moses, Snake went into a brief retirement. This was not to last very long, because he was requested to join the Joe team for a series of high profile sneaking missions. Snake is a master of CQC combat and various weapons, however the FAMAS rifle and SOCOM silenced pistol are his mainstays. When an unnamed member of the Joe team asked Hawk why this guy and not Snake Eyes or one of the ninjas? Snake overheard and responded "Ninjas? Let me TELL you about a Ninja..."

Recipe:
Head: POC Jungle Duke
Torso: Ret. Cobra Trooper w/ sculpting
Upper Arms: ROC Neo Viper
Lower Arms and Hands: Ret. Snake Eyes
Upper Legs:
Right upper - reverse mounted Resolute Stalker left leg w/ modded 25th beachhead holster
Left Upper - Renny Firefly
Lower Legs: Resolute Stalker

Accs:
FAMAS - ROC Dusty
SOCOM - ROC Pit Commando w/ modding for removable silencer

Never would I have thought of reversing an upper leg to make it work. I can't even tell. Great sculpting on the torso too! Sweet Figure!

thanks dude!
I needed a right side holster, and had no legs with 2 thigh straps and no pockets other than this one. I tested out the range of motion and how it looked. Went that route, and am quite pleased!

The sculpting wasnt too bad, I need to try my hand with green stuff, because sculpy is very annoying.

with Sculpey, someone told me this a long time ago, wish I remembered to give credit. Take a piece you want to use and press it between two pieces of paper. Let it sit. As it sits the paper draws the oils out and makes it firmer. Much easier to work with and very easy to get smooth. If it gets too firm just roll in your hand and it will collect oil out of your skin and soften up. I also use a space heater to harden it in the winter and put figure under a pint glass in full sun in summer. Both methods harden it quick and do not melt the plastic of the figure.

Awesome, thanks for the info! I baked him in the oven at 185 for a few hours. Got it pretty good. The paper trick is something I will have to try!

BTW here he is in action!
