Someone attempted a long-body Huey

This is only the second time I've seen it attempted.

if you look at where the body was split and the added cabin area was added, it was definately a hack job, the effort you'd put into it you could make 2 much nicer ones.

pretty hard to make a D or later airframe with the earlier model. The back half of the fuselage is the wrong shape and it ends up looking wierd.

Indeed. It's not simply a matter of adding an extension to the cabin and some length to the blades. Stretching it no more makes it a D than cutting off two of the rotor blades and a bunch of the antennas off of a Kiowa Warrior would make it a C.

Just had a look... OMG that paint job! Did he use house paint with a sponge roller, or what??
