Agreed. I've never been tempted to go for the FT or HasTak version of Hound. I love my dark green toy-colored gundog. He's so chonky!
I don't have FT Jazz preordered, but I suspect I'll pick him up if I can. I have Downbeat and Hova... and both have strengths, but at this point, it's probably a safe assumption that the FT version will best them.
In general, I'm still averse to replacing figures I'm happy with... but when it comes to '84 carbots, I don't mind owning mutables unless I feel one is perfect (see Gundog).
I bought one of the trailbreakers... one of the earlier ones, but to be honest, I can't even tell you which one. They all look the same.

That's funny. I put a deposit on him this morning at ShowZ. He looks impressive.
When I die, I think my family will just bury the optimus prime collection with me rather than trying to sort them all out. I think this will be my 6th "MP Prime", not counting the knocked-up and down versions. I keep saying I won't upgrade, but they just keep getting better.

Also, I got tired of waiting for the reissues of FT Astrotrain and pulled the trigger on one of the high quality KOs for just over $100. Seems like a deal if the figure doesn't suck.
I'm surprised this seems to be the first FT figure to get KO'd. You'd think half of them would have gotten the chinese treatment by now given what many of the out-of-stock figures go for these days.

This chinatown ko quality transformers is still one of my favorite things ever. I traded some crappy Toynami brown Valkyries and armor set for it at my local store, so the ridiculous price does not come into play.

I just happened to look at my local toy store on social Saturdy and they had it in hand. I was there as soon as possible with crap to chip away at that price.
Absolutely. Any interest in the bumblebee/AWE Striker? I just want the carded stalker.
Didn’t order BB because he should have been Hound or Beachcomer. Not the 10,000 version of a overused sidekick.
The crazy thing is I probably would consider breaking the bank for a 1/18-1/16 scale Optimus Prime. (Even without trailers)
But my scale OCD allows me to pass on anything I won’t be happy with down the line.

I got Pangu Prime in the mail today from ShowZ. He's 18" of pure Magic Square goodness. Very solid and stable.
EDIT: According to Eddie, I got very lucky, as a great number of these have arrived to anxious customers with one arm being completely broken off. Eddie compiled a fix for his and showed people how, but as you can imagine, lots of people are still very unhappy, especially the ones with no tools or fixing skills. Couple that with CNY where no one on the continent is answering emails, and Pangu is taking a lot of heat. But mine is great. I love him. I'll be putting KU 1:18 MP Sideswipe with him soon enough.

I haven't put any with him, but I've seen pics where others have tried it, and they look solidly in-scale. 
He's a knocked-up 4th party figure based on Magic Square's second attempt at an MP Prime. I use the original v1 Magic Square as my display Prime, but I have v2 as well. V2 is definitely more toony and takes a lot of cues from MP-44. But both MS versions are better than MP-10 and MP-44, IMO.
I broke down and preordered a secondary release of Deformation Space Starscream. He's so incredibly toony, and he makes all my MP-03-based seekers look seriously dated. I'll end up being bummed if they don't do re-releases on Thundercracker and Skywarp too. But he looks great, and at ShowZ, he's $69 in the door. Seems criminal to get a figure that good that cheap.

That's awesome! As always, I care not for the TFs, but the carded o-ring Joes are 100% up my alley. I've picked them all up on the secondary market.

It'll probably be some non-sequitur like Downtown or Cross Country. The reveal of Leatherneck and Slaughter with Kup was a bummer. I mean, yeah, Sarge was a given with the vehicle, but a D-lister like Leatherneck? Gung-Ho would have been a much better choice.

I was watching a YouTube video last night & apparently Omega Supreme was pitched as a cross over sometime between 2000-2012. There were a lot of scrapped Joe vehicles so I don’t remember the year.
So just saw a custom Optimus Prime as A GI Joe Rolling Thunder….

Finally got around to opening Deformation Space Starscream. It's embarrassing how much better he looks than whatever MP-3 mold reuse I've been rocking.
Not gonna transform him because his place on the shelf is in bot mode. No frills, no accessories, no extra parts to lose, no instructions... but even so, best $69 I ever spent on an MP-scale TF. Looks like he just walked out of the cartoon! I just wish I could find a deal that good on the other two '84 seekers. They're going to look gimpy by comparison!

Weird that the Blu-ray version is 4:3 ratio while the dvd is widescreen?
They enjoyed it, but wanted them to see this before Transformers One.

Right?! I downloaded a 4k remastered version that puts my Blu-ray rip to shame. And it's wide-screen. That's the version that lives forever on my media server.
Glad they liked it. Made my kids go see it in the theater with me on the 30th (35th?) anniversary... whichever one they put it back in limited theaters. That was pretty awesome.

The remastered version looks great compared to the vhs I had for years, it’s just weird that they put all that work into the 4:3 & the DVD widescreen looks about as good as the vhs.
