Jesse, will you have the vehicle parts up anytime soon in a category? I forgot all about getting the Thunder Machine pieces you had. (If they're up there, I missed where they were.)

I've just been ordering them off of Amazon as they come up for sale. They're a few more bucks, but better than spending gas money looking for them.

TofuJesse, when are we getting that Shae Visla, Revan or Malgus kit we talked about? People want to make TOR figures! :hobbes:

Thanks guys. Here is something else I did. A shockblast barrel mod by our very on MB. You may recognize it from his SDCC Hisstank conversion tutorial.

Cast in four pieces and the center piece cast in clear purple (What! that can't be done) anyone interested lets get a list going cause this is something I may not be putting on the site. Price pending, it wont break the bank.

These pics are first pulls and are a little rough.

It's a C-O-N-spirecy! I don't care about that crap anymore.

I think the copy came out better than the original. It is pretty damn NICE. The next ones I make will be lighter purple. I can cast them so they come out silver but that would make the cost go up considerably.

I can also cast stuff in metal. Just throwing that out there cause I haven't been able to find a project to cast in metal.

People can paint the barrel. I'm sure they rather costs stay down. The clear purple is the thing that will get people stoked I think.

Metal?
You mean, we could have "real steel" weapons like the early Verlinden 1:35 pistols and rifles?

Dang, if it is a financially feasible thing, I'm sure that metal guns would be a real USP for you.
I'm sure, it would piss off the bitch-boys, too.

I am not sure if cold mould pouring would work with these weapons.

The hot metal will cool before it hits the inner parts of the moulds.

Spin casting would be the way to go and that is a whole different set up.

Heating apparatus , centrifuge and the rubber that you would have to use has got to be VULCANIZED.

There are some new techniques that I use with metal casting. Very simple to do, just like poring regular resin I just haven't done it with weapons. I guess it's time to try.

What about Destro's Head!? I would love to have a real metal cast of the head that comes with City Strike. I'm new around here, btw...I placed a big order with you this past weekend and am looking forward to receiving it!

If your looking for something to cast in metal. How about t bars? Think a few people could find them very useful myself included

Depends on what kind of metal it's being cast in. Most of the metal casting done at home is probably pewter (but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, Jesse) and pewter will bend much, much easier than almost ANY kind of plastic that t-bars would be cast in.

Casting in metal isn't as hard as one would think. Let me do something and I will post it. Oh and I use and metal alloy, I am not sure the blend is but I will find out. It's actually pretty strong once it cools.

I watched Thor yesterday and was wondering if the any of the Heroes 3 or whatever got sent your way. Now I knows.

As for metal casting. Rotor mast/head assembly on the 21st Super Cobra.
