In a follow-up to last week's incident, a Wayne Enterprises spokesman reports that their latest stolen, uh; 'Bio-Augmentive Technology Armorsuit' was seen being worn by the 'BatMan' vigilante in his showdown with the green Hulk creature earlier this morning. The spokesman Lucius Fox asserts that the so-called BAT-armor had been heavily modified by the BatMan and used for purposes for which it was not designed. You may recall from the initial report that the armorsuit had been designed to aid in disaster relief work rescuing citizens trapped by earthquake debris or homes engulfed in fire. Now Fox says the BatMan has taken their shorthand name for the armorsuit too literally and used it for his own purposes. He further asserts that the flight behavior of the separate BatWing flight drone belies its identity as another piece of stolen Wayne Enterprises property, the result of a new 3D-printing fabrication process where the item is molecularly assembled within a high-pressure helium atmosphere to embed the helium within the item's internal structure for gravity-negating buoyancy effects. More as the situation progresses.
The BatArmor here is the IM2 Marine Hammer drone with a number of modifications. I rigged in a Shockwave head as I liked how the balaclava's panels could be painted to mirror the Batcowl, when I couldn't find an unmasked head I liked. The helmet is from the Zombie-Viper with some plexi ears fabbed on and eyes built up with papercraft. I added BatSpikes to the forearms, and took out about 3mm of the calf to bring him a bit more into proper human proportions. I also trimmed back the shoulder armor to allow a higher swing of the arm, trimmed the lower front of the hindarm to allow a 90° bend to the forearm, cut away the armor flaps in front of the hips to allow them to move forward, and flipped the ankle joint to turn it into a rocker ankle all the hip kids like these days.
The BatWing is the old MiniMates C3 brick item bashed onto the center of a JvC flightpack and a crapton of plexi to cover over the scars of the cut-off brick studs and under-sockets.
