Hello again, friends;
I'm back to display my newest addition to the suite of peripherals to the FantastiCar, or 'Flying BathTub' as it's more popularly known. This is the Transversal Sub-Quantum Differentiator, a device enabling me to peer into the Multiverse to discern one universe from another. It began as a stellar cartography tool to map the stars and galaxies here in our own universe, but research published by the fine scientists at Stargate Command into Ancient Altairan technology led me to a few insights enabling me to upgrade it without need for a significant redesign.
Here, Ben and I are giving it a shakedown cruise in a variety of FantastiCar modularities. Unfortunately, this first FantasiCar is only capable of a maximum 970,000km range; giving us the capacity to reach the our friends the InHumans on the Moon and return, or perhaps the LaGrange points ahead and aft of Earth's orbit. A proper use of the Differentiator's capacity will have to await the completion of the FantastiCar II, with its inter-galactic and trans-universal flight capabilities.
As always, many thanks for your interest and attention.
The Differentiator is a Nerf Frisbee from a Happy Meal I appropriated from my grand-nephew's toy stash (he's 4 and won't miss it, and I'll hook him up with something cooler for Xmas to assuage my guilt). I saw it and knew it had to become *something* due to the keen techno design on its face. I fabbed up some greeblie details and a connecting arm using some old Robotix bits, and gave it a paintjob that's hopefully reminiscent of an eyeball.
