I still need to paint their uniforms, add patches and THEN paint and assemble their armor.

I wish I hand enough hands from a Joe Colton figure to out-fit each of these (except the female of course). The only problem I see right now is they ALL seem to stand a little too tall. I'm currently trying to figure out how to change that without destroying the whole knee area.

Also, if I actually add all the HT figures to these since the HT factory sculpt and paint doesn't make them actually look like the actors, I have a whole platoon.

Why not just wait for the Marauder Colonial Marines Task Force figs? Or Hiya Toys...

Have you tried any other upper legs? Does the original knee for the upper fit the new lower? You could just cut the knee plate off the new knee and glue it on the old knee.

The female head looks too small. What about ROC Cover Girl with different hair?

I don't think the original upper leg will work, Ragin Spoon (who molded/cast the parts) changed out the original with a double hinge system. The upper legs I'm using now just barely clamp around the new knee. I think I just need to cut that part of level, drill out the top of the lower leg, shave off part of the bottom of the removed knee and somehow reattach the whole thing.

I actually don't think the female head looks all that bad, but I may have just been looking at it too long. I needed something that could fit under the helmet while having a "approved" hair cut.

I was also going for a varied look to the troops, short, tall, thick, thin, etc.
