Continuing my thoughts from HT.

I think a grenade or two would be nice, as would a knife and one of Dragon's M1936 musette bags.

I imagine the Bbi paras came with heaps of stuff that would fill him out nicely.

I agree, he does look a bit plain. I want to find a nice set of ammo belts to wrap over his shoulders too. The search for accessories continues. Also, if you know where I can find a 1/18 .30 cal., that would be great.

NP, I used some of those tiny medals on this guy. Before anyone says anything, I totally realize that all these medals on this figure probably does not make any sense. I am completely ignorant of what these medals were for and I placed them on my fan fiction Destro just because I thought they looked good...

The belts that came with the Kaiyodo Jin-Roh or the Revoltech Protect Gear should work. Not cheap these days.

I sent the JR one to Jesse for casting, but haven't gotten it back yet. As I understand it the flash clean-up is maddening, so it's not likely to show up in the store. Plan on using it with my Vietnam era Rockblock-based machine gunner.

As for the Destro, two of those "breast" devices are actually cap cockades. The cross at his throat is a Pour le Mérite. The Blue Max. Just so ya know, not a recrimination.

S.E. Mich :(
I love the RB...especially that you used the Rock head and made him actually black :D...I'm getting more of a Vietnam vibe from him though...

And that last shot with Destro and troops is crazy awesome!

The Blue Max was the only one I was familiar with. Learned about that in the movie with the same name.

Thanks, that's my fan fiction Destro and the Imperial Iron Grenadiers!!! Storm Troopers on the left, Siberian Troopers on the right

Not cheap and ridiculously hard to find. I was going to send mine to get casted somewhere but I somehow lost the package.

You can find 1/16 scale brass rounds for it but then you'll have to figure out a way to turn it into a belt. I kind of know how, it's just ridiculously hard and time consuming.

I still don't buy that 1:16 brass will really work well, but all that stuff on Destro is 1:16 so who knows.

I agree with Eddie, that RB does look more Vietnam-era than WW2, but it totally works. :)

Got to be the wifebeater and the olive drab.

I reckon if you lost most of the WWII pouches and replaced them with M1956 universal small arms ammunition pouches or M1967 M16 pouches or better yet, convert the feed bags on the Marauder M60E3. 2-3 more canteens, butt pouch and a tropical or lightweight ruck and he'd be ready for the Ia Drang valley.
