WWII Scrap Iron

Been a while since I posted here. Just wanted to get a new perspective from you guys. Hope you like, all comments welcome, especially any critiques.

I give you Operation Barbarossa Scrap Iron with stovepipe:

Figure looks good. The helmet was a nice touch.

Holy crap in a hat, that's fricking awesome. Please list parts used. Looks like the Indy German motorcycle helmet, that's all I recognise.

That helmet came from a 21st Century WWII figure. I'm not sure which one. The goggles came from the Indiana WWII motorcycle figure.


Parts:

Head: 25th Scrap Iron face on someone's else's head. Hair was sculpted.
Torso: ROC Desert Ambush Duke
Upper Arms: Reso Duke (5 pack with jetpack)
Lower Arms: POC Dusty
Upper Legs: I think it was ROC Firefly
Lower Legs: 25th Red Star

Collar and shoulder straps were cut from WWII figure made by either 21st Century or Dragon. I bought a lot of loose WWII figures on ebay for cheap to use as fodder. The WWII gear came from the same. Hope that helps.

The StG, belt and most of the accoutrements are Dragon, the map case is 21st. The stahlhelm looks like the Ardennes release pattern, also 21st.



And he still needs at least one tank destruction badge.

Helmet is superb. but I love that patch on the shoulder as well. Waterslide? Everything flows together well part and paint wise. No real critiques.

Yes, waterslide. I found 1/16 scale WWII German uniform decals on ebay. It's not 1/18 but looks ok to me.
