This last weekend in Toronto Canada,  the 2012 Canadian Joe Convention was held.  Officer member Charade attended the Convention and has brought back Intel to the states.  Here is a quote from Charade on Hasbro: The biggest disappoint was the lack of Hasbro Canada. They were scheduled for a panel near the end of the day, but reportedly they cancelled that about a week ago. According to the CJC administrators, Hasbro Canada pulled out due to a corporate-wide policy of minimizing the dissemination of information to the public for the immediate future. Supposedly, this is because of delay of the Retaliation movie, which disrupted their original plans for Joe’s future. The CJC staff told us that, while Hasbro International re-evaluates the future strategies for G.I. Joe, contact between Hasbro and the public will be minimal. Hasbro did show up to the CJC ... When Killzone 3 was announced,  Sony fan boys from around the world were ecstatic.  I was no different,  I placed my pre order right away,  went back and played some more KZ2 and watched the net for every piece of news and videos that came out. Finally in early 2011,  Killzone 3 was released on the Playstation 3.  The buzz around this “Halo Killer” was tremendous.  I purchased my copy at midnight and immediately started the Campaign. Here at the Fighting118th we had the privilege of getting a exclusive sneak peek at Falcone’s Wave 1 weapon assortment.  One of our Officer’s Fogger1138 has the story: I was fortunate enough to be given review copies of some of Falcone’s upcoming 1:18th scale weapon releases. You may have seen him posting in the forums Here He’s making some 1:18th scale weapons that we haven’t seen yet, to provide some variety for customizers and those who like to outfit their figures with different gear.  My understanding is that currently he plans on making these available at a cost of $1 per weapon. SlayerCon 2 Day 2 Coverage One of The Fighting 1:18th Founding members, Fogger1138 attended the event and has the Intel for us! We don’t have a whole lot of New information from Day 2 however we do have a much larger Gallery including some more pictures from Day 1.  Below are some tidbits from Fogger. – Got to see Ben (Jedi Master Ben on the SDS forums, one of Slayer’s sculptors) sculpting in wax.  The other main SDS sculptor works in resin,   so it was neat to see one way to do it. – Had a small demo on working with foam for cliffsides,  and for flocking coniferous and deciduous trees.  I got to take one home! – Played lots of Relic Wars.
