Joe Con 2012 is in full swing and the news,  photo’s and coverage has been coming in at a furious pace.  As we have been discussing the updates from our friends at OG13.com as well as other Joe sites like GeneralsJoes.com,  it was announced today that two figures were pulled out of the display case shortly after they were displayed.  One of our Forum Founder’s Birddog surprised us today with a rare photo of a possible upcoming Roadblock which was one of the two figures that was yanked out of the Hasbro case.  Here is a quote from Birddog: Here’s a picture of the Roadblock I took.   I was a child of the 80’s and like most kids I fell in love with G.I. Joe.  As the years went on and I got into video games,  I’ve always dreamed of a good G.I. Joe video game.  I’ve played the few games that have come out and haven’t been impressed.  When the Rise of Cobra movie was announced I was excited for the release of the video game.  It’s frustrating that most movie based video games have a reputation of being low budget,  rushed and frankly just not very good.  This game is no exception. The first glimpse of the G.I. Joe Retaliation line was revealed today by USA Today. The first figures to get revealed are Roadblock, Duke, Cobra Commander, Cobra Trooper, Snake Eyes, Red Ninja, Storm Shadow, Zartan and a GI Joe Trooper. Read More »

So I went by the local ToysRus today to see if they had the new Unimax "Assault Force" 1:18 scale LAV-25, but they did not. They did, however, have the new G.I. Joe "Rise of Cobra" Senior Ranking Officers 3-packs in stock. Read More »

For the Rise of Cobra movie line of figures, Hasbro came out with a "reimagining" of the classic Cobra Diver, however many fans felt like the new figure did not fully capture the greatness of the original sculpt, or the newer 25th Anniversary figure that was released in 2008.
