Finally got around to photographing Footloose for the front page review... I'll have to edit all of them but I think they turned out okay. It started getting too dark so I lost natural light and didn't get to finish all the other custom shots that I wanted to take, but here's one from the Footloose shoot and one of my Metal-Head custom:
Your MH kicks a$$ MR...so perfect looking...and of course I dig FL, but the one thing I dislike about him, his crotch texture doesn't match his leg texture...being part of the same pair of pants, they should be the same
That's going to be part of my complaint on the figure in my review. He's far from perfect, but considering the parts they had to use and that he technically has new arms, he's still awesome to have.
Shame on Hasbro for not making him in the POC or any other line at retail. It's a shame such a great figure was an exclusive.

Thanks guys. This was originally my Mos eisley cantina but i made real world bar effects for it too. There is another whole half to the bar not pictured.

Zanzibar is made from comic pack Ripper's torso and arms, I sanded the grenades and shirt smooth. The legs are copperheads with the frill crap on the inside of legs sculpeyed over and sanded smooth. The crotch piece and bandana on the legs are sculpted. Head is SDS and the shoulder things are from a narnia figure. Belt and sword is from an iron Grenadier.

We were at the hospital yesterday for the start of her last round of chemo.
If all goes well (if she doesn't catch a fever or something due to her immunity dropping), she should be home in time for her 2nd birthday on Friday. Technically, her cancer is in remission, but she'll have yearly checkups to make sure it doesn't come back.
There should be a couple in here, but how far back I couldn't begin to guess.
I'll probably be transfering the gear over to one of the dollar store officers or variant Shipwreck bodies if they come out.

She's just a baby? Jezus kryst. This cancer episode must have been the most pants shitting terror you've ever known.
That's not all. At 3 months of age, she had open heart surgery to patch 2 holes in her heart. On top of everything she was born with Down Syndrome. She's a fighter. Kids can go through some harrowing shit and come back stronger.
Kids with DS actually respond very well to chemo treatments, possibly because of their extra chromosome.
