I would give up most other toy lines to keep up with this one. They are making the stuff that TF dreams are made of. My ten year old self would have sold his soul for these in '84...

Why is soundwave so much more than the other two?

Hopefully because Soundwave will be the same size as the Seekers/Grimlock/Rodimus/MP-10. I don't want him car-sized. That was my main problem with Music Label SW... He was just too damn small and suffered articulation loss, to boot.
Yeah, Sideswipe is a bunch smaller than MP10 or the seekers, so hopefully Soundwave's price indicates that he'll be the appropriate size. I still wish the cars were a tad larger...
I went ahead and preordered all three MPs at BBTS. Just got an email that the prices dropped as some sort of "Thank you" price drop.

I assume it will be the old mold since it is Hasbro.

Well, if it is the regular MP seeker mold (and I assume it's the new and improved one used for Coronation-Scream), then I might get one and use the igear version for a Rainmaker. I've got a couple of WM skywarps I can repaint green, yellow, or purple. I can always use igear Sunstorm for a rainmaker too, accuracy be damned.

Yeah, I'm all over these. MP G1's.... I'd likely give up ever other toy line I collect before I stop getting these MP figures.
Wow!...he's beautiful...colors look nice, but I'm wondering if he'll eventually be released in a more toon accurate (brighter) color scheme
As cool as the iGear Ratchet/Ironhide mold is, after seeing those cars... Shit, I may wait on Takara's versions. I have hope we may see them after all now.

See, I don't count Sunstorm as a seeker at all, but I have Greenscream, WM Starscream, the retooled Takara Starscream, both Takara and Hasbro Skywarp, Takara TC, and the Coneheads from iGear...
Although once I get the Hasbro TC, I'll likely jettison the older Starscreams and all the Takara jets except for MP-11. I've been planning on it, I just need to finally do it.

I just hope they make them. Seems like Dr Wu shows a lot of stuff and then only half of it gets produced. If it weren't for Eddie, I'd still be waiting on the Eye of Metroplex!

I have no problem with the MP10/Grimlock/Seeker scale, but Sideswipe seems very small to me. He's only going to be 5"-6" tall which is barely bigger than a CHUG. He should only be a head shorter than Prime, not looking at his waist.

The only one that's not awesome is Ravage. Maybe he's not transformed right? I really liked the Device Label Ravage, who except for needing an extra joint in his neck and tail, was pretty MP to begin with in panther mode. (Albeit not turning into a cassette, obviously.)
The MP one has the same problem. The neck and tail need an extra joint, which to me seems like it could be possible to squeeze it in if they can make Laserbeak look so damn awesome.

It's the little touches, like the energon cube coming out of his chest that make these figures truly masterpiece. They would be awesome big figures, but those little extra details and nods to G1 'toons and comics that really make these figures special.
I think the Energon cubes are only a Japanese Amazon exclusive, aren't they? Same with the chromed pile-drivers for Sideswipe?
Oh, I thought there were some other cubes we didn't get. I thought the single chest cube was included in the general release. Maybe I'm wrong.
I don't read Japanese, so I am not an accurate source. This is just what I gleaned from the various online things I read. It could all be 100% nerd speculation, I have no proof or anything.
TNI agrees with you, so I guess I was confused. Still, it'll take five seconds for a 3rd party to copy the cubes.
It looks like they scaled them to each other in alt mode since SS fits in Primes trailer...and we all know I prefer alt modes correctly scaled to each other
