Painted the gray shirt OD...tried to remove the ninja symbo first but got down to the skin color before it all came off... no matching gray so OD it became. Shipped the R hand to Jesse to cast so that will be replaced soon. Then swapped lower legs with Renegade Ripcord. Obviously painted the pants black. Threw on a FoV backpack and random holster...which I already have since removed...
Don't have one yet, though the local K-Puke still has two!
Anyway, what I'm gonna do is sub the entire RB upper body as another bare-arm Crossbones Pure Merc custom with all the usual accouterments (frag & smoke grenades; leather thigh rig, MG's w/ slings n' rings, etc.).

i was just thinking, i wonder how captain america lower legs would look? i got the one with the winter coat.. that and maybe ren rip cord knees..
How are you going to put on the legs? They are completely different from Joe attachments.

i tried the ren rip cord knees with captain america lowers, but they wont work together. i cant get the pin to go through. anf the knee rubs big time with the upper part of the lower leg. i was thinking maybe roc road block res roadblock but i really dont like those knees.

ok, nothing i tried worked. the ca lower legs look great with this figure, i just can't figure out what knee to use.
i decided to make him a casualty of war and cut his legs off and toss him in a wheel chair.. YO JOE!
While I haven't modded the Retaliation Roadblock as a default Roadblock yet, I think something similar to what I did with my custom Roadblock would work for the Retaliation torso as well:
I just swapped out the knees with Resolute Snake Eyes. The only problem is that you will need to either sand or dremel the upper legs to allow the knees to have full range of movement and for him to be able to stand up straight. Again, a dremel would be ideal, and doesn't take long at all to do.
I just don't care for the Retaliation legs at all, as they make him too tall, and he looks disproportionate. I also can't stand how high the head-sculpt they gave him rests on his neck. That can be remedied though as well. I've actually been wanting to do another custom Roadblock similar to the one I shared above, but I want to use the Retaliation torso and arms instead, and a different head-sculpt.

i like the height, and want to go with something in reason of the original. i think he will be sgt. rock. same as how slaughter and fridge came in joe. but i want to keep his uppers andfind something tall for the bottom. i was thinking of trying stones lowers, but have no idea what his lowers even are anymore, i get all them blue roc legs mixed up.
can someone tell me if the poc viper lowers look good on the road block uppers and rest of his body?
Don't worry about lower legs. Pants are bloused, just cut and paste. I used POC Dusty legs. Guess ST black boots would work best for this version That old ad of the guy glueing his construction hardhat to the beam is for real. That glue is Krazy!

I have the one from the 3 pack and am wondering what to do with him. I gave him the Maurauder FOS as it looks way to big for regular JOES. That black war paint bothers me though. the whole tank top wife beater doesn't do it for me but whats a cracka to do. Glad they gave him that vest at least so I wouldn't have to glue a PTE one on.

I just tried it and don't care for the look. I used the PoC Duke version, and they look skinny compared with the rest of him. I'm not sure about height with the original legs, but with the ST lower I used the Zartan/Duke/30th Viper lower added a good 1/4" to the already prodigous height of Rockblock.
