I have the nspu-1 scopes/PBS-5 silencer set now, and happy with them. I love the scope, I must say....biased as I am. Does anyone know how I can post pics here from an iPad or iPhone? I'll put up pics, and they'll be available from tomorrow. Want to put up pics and info first.

They come in a set of 8scopes and 8 silencers on a sprue, all correct for 1:16, as this is the correct gun size for gi joe figs (trust me, I spent Alot of time number crunching, measuring and getting things modelled, as well as buying scale kits just to measure..)

The other items (guns, etc) aren't too far behind.

Ok, I'll get my girlfriend to get her camera and find my old laptop to post pics tonight. I've mounted the scopes on an mj svd, aksu and Ak for size comparison pics. I've mounte dthe silencer on an aksu as its what it is used for, in real. I'll sort out the pics issue as above and write up a full info page on it tonight.

Ps fogger, some of these will be in the package I send out to you this week.

I've never been able to post directly from my iPad. Apparently there's an app you can get that helps with that, but I don't have it.

The price depends on material one prints in, but for these, even the cheapest option is good. The pics I'll show are the cheapest option for printing, and I have no complaints re detail, solidity or anything. As they aren't items with grips/rub points, white strong flexible is good, and one can paint them and there is no worry about rubbing etc. it holds the paint well, I've tested with both acrylic and enamel on it now.

In white strong flexible (the cheapest option) it is going to be 14.00 us dollars for 8 silencers and 8 scopes in one set.

I'm actually impressed by the material, as it holds the paint very well and is very solid. I have tested with dremeling etc, and it is good solid stuff. As for detail, when you see the scope you'll see it is good. It is hard to see in plain white or black, but I'll post pics of them painted correct colour (gunmetal) too, and it shows the detail well. Every part of the real scope is on the scale scope, and correctly proportioned and scaled, including the battery pack, switches etc. including the 3 small switches at the front side of the scope. The mounting point is correct too, so easy to mod as to how you want to mount it. The rear eyepiece is on too, and correct.

It is correct for mj guns, as you'll see from pics compared with pics of the real deal.
As I said I'll sort out camera and laptop to put up pics and full info and useful shapeways info tonight. I'll also post some pics of some items that won't be up, as they help explain mods to designs of guns for shapeways. Essentially rejected early models of some guns I am making, as it might be useful for those who want to get their designs up there too.

Thanks for posting them for me, much appreciated!

The scope is the soviet nspu-1 aka 1pn34, the go-to night vision device for soviet and Russian forces. It is that size, as a google search shows. It is exactly as the real scope, including the battery pack and mount size. All the ones you see are printed in the cheapest option on shapeways, WSF (white strong flexible). It dreamers well, hold paint well (acrylic and enamel). It glues well too.
There is no flash, and it comes in a set of 8, with 8 PBS-5 silencers, on a sprue.

You can order in other materials or colours, but there is no need as it paints well, and the material is sturdy.

The silencer is the PBS-5, the correct silencer for the aksu and shortened aks. There is a similar one, the PBS-4, which is shorter but looks almost the same. On silencers there is little detail as you can imagine, but this has the details that do exist. This includes the tiny lower spout lip and slight flattening above the top of the end of the silencer, as well as the different diameters of the silencer. It does need to be dremeled in the rear (eddieism) to attach. This choice was made so it can be fitted universally, rather than a hit and miss hole size.

The cost of the set will be 14.00 usd (in white strong and flexible...don't bother ordering it in colour) and it goes on sale tomorrow.

Future releases (near future) include an aksu with this silencer on it, as well as a silenced grenade launcher under the barrel (bs-1 tishina) as used by spetsnaz and recon troops of the soviet union and Russia. It'll also have an Ak-74 with the 1pn34 night sight attached, and the correct PBS-1 silencer for the ak74 attached. There will also be the svd (dragunov) with various sights attached, including 2 different night scopes. Another coming item is the PKM with box ammo (the standard russian/soviet saw as well as mg) there will also be the sr-3m, and early prototype of which is in the last pic posted, as well as a correct vsk-94 (the gun that came with the viper that Lao had the panzerfaust 3 RPG), vss vintorez with correct pso-1 scope, a set of m-16 30 round magazines in Molle pouches for customs, and a set of Ak mags in pouches for customs.

Tiny pictures are tiny. That 1PN58 is the sex, though.

Need a PBS-1 suppressor.

I emailed you big versions of these pics KT

Also, working on PBS-1 on its own. It's already on the coming Ak-74, with night sight on it too

I used to have a PSB-1/1PN58 equipped AK in 1:6 scale. THese pics have me wanting to revisit an old idea I never sourced the parts for.

There is an Ak in that exact configuration coming in not too long, in a set with the aksu PBS-5 and tishina.

1/16th??? There's your problem. What kind of numbers was this guy crunching, to come up with that?

Whatever.

1/16th equates to 4.5''. Granted, more and more figs are slightly over 4'', but until the standard height is 4.5''... big fat NO.

I'm just catching this 1:16th post. When I talked to him, he was designing his parts in 1:18. I hope he sticks to it and doesn't go Marauder on us. The sr-3m, vsk-94, vss vintorez, and Pkm can all be nice if done in the proper scale.
